We offer a base salary to all of our expatriate staff. This salary is enough to live comfortably when combined with the other parts of the package. Additional salary allotments are given for leadership positions and at each contract renewal. Grace covers all visa and work permit costs in addition to Bangladeshi income taxes.
We pay for your initial flight to Dhaka and one round-trip ticket to your home country annually. After your service at Grace has concluded, we will help cover the costs of starting the next chapter in your journey.

We provide housing for all of our expatriate staff. Our staff live in an apartment building located in a safe, comfortable neighbourhood. Local shops, grocery stores, and a public park are all within walking distance. The unique sights, sounds, and smells of Bangladeshi culture can be found all around the neighbourhood.
Each apartment has a domestic helper 2-3 days a week. These dedicated people can clean, do laundry, cook, shop for groceries, etc. In addition, we provide free transportation seven days a week around Dhaka.

Expatriate staff receive tuition benefits for all of their children as long as they are employed. Basic Bengali language classes are provided to all new staff. Sports Director

Role Overview:
The Sports Director provides strategic leadership and operational management for the Physical Education (PE) department and the school’s competitive sports programme. This role involves managing the PE teaching staff, overseeing the curriculum across all campuses, and coordinating complex logistics for local and international friendly matches and tournaments. The Sports Director is responsible for fostering a culture of excellence, sportsmanship, and Christian character, ensuring that Grace International School remains a leader in athletic development within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Departmental Leadership & Management
- Lead and manage the PE department, including the recruitment, supervision, and professional appraisal of PE teachers and coaching assistants.
- Oversee the design and implementation of a cohesive PE curriculum from Early Years through to Secondary.
- Chair departmental meetings to ensure consistency in grading, behaviour management, and instructional quality across all campuses.
Sports Coordination & Logistics
- Coordinate the timing and locations for all sports practices, ensuring equitable access to facilities for different age groups and genders.
- Manage the master sports calendar, including intra-school house matches and inter-school friendly fixtures.

Tournament & Regional Oversight

Strategic Support & Student Welfare
- Develop a “High-Performance” pathway for student-athletes while maintaining an inclusive “Sports for All” philosophy.
- Ensure robust safeguarding and first-aid protocols are strictly followed during all off-site trips and high-contact activities.
- Act as a mentor to students, promoting Christian leadership and integrity through competitive play.
Christian Leadership
- Ensure the sports programme reflects the school’s values, integrating faith and character development into athletic training.

Occupational Therapist
Location: Grace International School, Dhaka, Bangladesh

Reports to: SEND Specialist
Role Overview:
The Occupational Therapist (OT) supports students’ participation, independence, and success within the school environment by addressing fine motor development, sensory processing, self-regulation, visual-motor integration, executive functioning, self-care, and functional life skills.
The Occupational Therapist works collaboratively with students, teachers, parents, the SEND Specialist, Learning Support Team, and other relevant professionals to identify barriers to learning and participation, implement effective interventions, and promote inclusive educational practices. Through assessment, intervention, consultation, and capacity building, the Occupational Therapist helps ensure that students with diverse needs can access the curriculum and fully engage in all aspects of school life.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment and Evaluation
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments using formal and informal measures.
- Observe students in classrooms, playgrounds, specialist lessons, and other school environments to identify barriers to participation and learning.
- Develop written assessment reports outlining findings and recommendations to be shared with teachers and families.
- Participate in the identification and review of students requiring occupational therapy support.
Student Services
- Provide individual and small-group occupational therapy interventions.
- Support student independence by addressing the development of fine motor, handwriting, visual-motor, sensory processing, executive functioning, self-regulation, social participation, and daily living skills.
- Develop measurable goals aligned with students’ educational programmes and support plans. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as required.
Consultation and Collaboration
- Collaborate with teachers to implement classroom-based strategies, accommodations, and interventions.
- Recommend adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, sensory supports, and assistive tools where appropriate.
- Communicate regularly with the SEND Specialist regarding student progress, emerging concerns, and recommended next steps.

Capacity Building
- Support staff understanding of occupational therapy principles and their application within the classroom, promoting student participation, independence, and self-regulation.
Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date student records, assessment reports, intervention plans, and progress notes.
- Ensure occupational therapy services are delivered in accordance with professional standards, ethical guidelines, and school policies.
- Contribute to the development and review of relevant SEND procedures and practices where appropriate.
Professional Responsibilities
- Maintain current professional registration and engage in ongoing professional learning to stay informed about current research, best practices, and emerging developments in occupational therapy.
