We've Been Teaching for Over 45 Years

In 1976, nonprofit organisations in Dhaka pooled their resources and opened the “Christian Primary Education Centre”. The school was established to provide a quality, affordable education for the children of nonprofit families.

Since 1976, the nonprofit community has changed, and the school was forced to change and adapt. In 1995, increased government restrictions led the school to restructure as a division of Dhaka Expatriate Services (DexServe). As the Educational Division of DexServe, the school can operate independently and obtain visas for its staff. It was then renamed “Grace International School” and relocated to the diplomatic zone in Dhaka. Grace enrols students between the ages of 2-18 and has three campuses: Early Years (ages 2-5), Primary School (Years 1-6) and Secondary School (Year 7-A Level). Our nonprofit families work in education, healthcare, food access, humanitarian aid, refugee support, and more. Plans are underway to build a permanent campus to bring all our students together.

Grace follows the English National Curriculum in a Christian environment and international context.

When I was in Grace, we had multicultural teachers and students. It was a perfect mixture of people from different countries. That truly helped me have a broader perspective of the world.

In the Grace community, we genuinely care for each other. We teach beyond the curriculum. We strive to teach love, humility, faith, and service, in our lessons and by example.

“As a smaller school I felt my son would benefit socially by making close friendships with his peers.

Also, the Pastoral care showed by the teachers and staff.”

Ms. C

GSS Parent

“Grace offers us a smaller and closer community, with a diverse mix of nationalities. There is more attention and time allocated to the learning for individual students.

We learnt that Grace has a well established and structured curriculum for students.”
